It doesn’t take much to make a link work. It doesn’t take much to find someone that can make a link work. This ties in to the job of the front-end developer. I would assume that Facebook pays their people good money to work for the company. Hell, with all the revenue they are making and all the notoriety and popularity they have, they’re making bank.
So why is it, for the past 5 days to a week, I have tried to click one of those annoying ads on the right hand side of the screen, and I get taken back to the same page I was on? This is rudimentary HTML people! a simple anchor tag, a link! Somehow, Facebook and its wunderkind genius developers have found a way of fouling up the most basic of principles and now the ads everyone pays for, are not getting viewed.
Bravo Facebook! I wonder how long it will take for someone to catch on. Hear me Zuckerberg?! You’re dogpaddling in a sea of FAIL and your developers can’t find the life preserver hanging on the wall in front of them!
You want to get the front-end right, you can pay me to do it! At least I double check and proof what I do before I make any drastic changes to a site.
