Some nice enhancements to the next version of Fedora, which I am running now instead of Ubuntu which I had been playing around with for quite some time.

I couldn’t get the current version of Ubuntu running on the laptop There were a ton of errors on this old laptop I own) so I decided to go with Fedora because I was familiar with Fedora before, using it on a couple other boxes before. I like the way it works. Plus it keeps my skills using the terminal up to par.

I do have issues on my hard drive with bad sectors, which I’m trying to figure out if they can be fixed or not. I have to run S.M.A.R.T. and see if that’ll do the trick. the times I have run S.M.A.R.T. for about 12 hours each, it seems like it hadn’t done anything or ran all the way through.

I’m looking forward to v.12 but that won’t be until November.
