six03 Studios was proud to be a part of the redesign of the Kennett High School, Eagles Hockey website. The KHS Eagles, the local high school team asked six03 to come up with something new, using WordPress, that the team could update once we were done and maintain themselves.
A WordPress-driven site, with the responsive design from the stock theme tweaked a bit. Added features are Facebook integration, polls for users to interact with, photo gallery with photos of the team from past and present events, calendar of events for parents/players to follow and a few more plugins thrown in such as a Lightbox gallery for photos and secure contact form among others.
It was our pleasure here at six03 Studios to produce this site and help the team build an identity online that was more of a hockey site and had a hockey feel to it. The content has been cleaned up so that pertinent information is relayed to the public, a site that the team could go in when they wanted to and make the necessary updates to the site in a timely manner and not have to worry about hard-coding everything into the page or have it maintained externally.
six03 Studios brings the local area football team a new site, easily able to be updated by its coaches, and a football (American) feel to the design rather than a plain old boxy design with a busy feel to it. Mount Washington Valley Mountaineers, the local Pop Warner football team was approached by six03 Studios to revamp their outdated website. To give it more of a football theme, add some interactivity that was missing from the old site, to provide maps for opposing teams to get directions to games that were located in the MWV area.
All this, along with a nice slick photo gallery and calendar of events cap what we feel was a great project to have been a part of. The Mountaineers site was a pleasure to work on and produce with the Vice President and Assistant coach of the team. We are pleased to unveil this site to the public and to have worked with such a great group.
A joint collaboration between six03 Studios and Web 7 Media, we handcrafted this site with the design from Web 7 Media and built it into a custom WordPress theme. Ad placement plugin, MailChimp newsletter signup, custom featured posts, a simple social plugin, and a couple nifty slideshows mark some of these custom features that were included in the build. The WordPress theme itself uses multiple loops of custom categories and placements in category pages. A custom-built menu system was also included in the theme and CSS3 was used to establish some of the drop shadows, rounded corners and other features in modern browsers, while degrading gracefully in other “non-compliant” browsers.
Tons of customization in the backend, multiple loops for featured content and unique content for category pages using only the finest PHP that money can buy, or in this case, the finest PHP delivered.
The Town of Fryeburg, Maine Recreation Department was contacted by six03 Studios about a newer, more up-to-date solution for their website. We came up with this site for them that not only updated their site, but also gave them a new CMS (WordPress) and a newer design. The new site also allows the recreation department to upload photos and create photo galleries, store events in an events-based calendar, create polls for their users and visitors to vote on, and much more!
The site also uses some @font-face techniques as well as some CSS3 magic. A secure contact form, rotating banner pictures, a slick menu system and your typical “Like” and “Recommend” features from Facebook plugged in.

Look for some great programs to sign the kids up for during the year as they offer many great programs, events and trips to kids in the Fryeburg, Maine area.
The Town of Conway Parks & Recreation Department was approached by six03 Studios asking if they wanted a newer, more up-to-date solution for their website. After bouncing around ideas, we came up with this site for them that not only updated their site into 2010 standards, but also gave them a new CMS (WordPress) and a new flexible design. The new site also allows the rec department to upload photos and create photo galleries, store events in an events-based calendar, create polls for their users and visitors to vote on, and much more!
